What Is The Website Of The National Housing Authority?

Housing Authority Rules in WA?

  • Currently I live next door to a person who is on low income housing. They have lived next door to me for almost a year. They are selling drugs and having random people in and out of there and also living there for months at a time. They do NOT clean up after there yard and always leave it a mess. The person that had originally moved there who the housing is under moved out and the other people stayed. Is this even legal? Our neighbors have had enough and are looking into report the house to the local housing authority. Does anyone have any idea on how they go about investigating into things to see if that person is even living there? and about the other random people living there?

  • Answer:

You can contact Housing Authorities and make a complaint to investigation department. It might still be difficult to do something about get something done about this situation. Even if they do not like people on their program selling drugs they still have to go through certain steps. Document comings and goings, make photographs and other evidences. Get a police report. If you have enough evidences that proof illegal activity they can make surprise visit. Otherwise they have to give tenants 24 hrs notice according to Washington landlor-tenant law. Housing authority cannot do anything if the tenant is not convicted of illegal activity.
