How is working at Papa Murphys?

I heard it's very monotonous. Also, you're working with food, which means you will have hungry customers. These hungry customer are often belligerent and absolutely obnoxious, rude and ignorant. Not all of them, but the food business (and I have) is notorious for having the worst customers. There is, however, one great thing about the food business. Most places will allow you at least 1 free meal per day. Places like casinos often feed you all day. I believe Papa Murphy's lets you take home one pizza per shift, but even if they don't technically allow it you will often get the OK, or there will be leftover pizzas from people who did not pick them up after ordering, or other reasons. If you're looking for a regular **** job, or just a first job, I'd say it's a good place to start. Retail may be only a partial step above. If you want to work with food, look into traditional restaurant work, where being a server can actually be very lucrative.
