Answer:
Why would you give money or credit card information for a job??? That right there isn't enough to convince you it might be a scam? Have you ever in your life had to pay before you started a job? Has anyone else you know? Of course not - because it's illegal for a company to ask the employee to pay to start a job. If there were any sort of training or other fees to be paid by the employee, this would be taken out of your first paycheck, never paid by you before you start. Did you look at the BBB report about this company? http://www.bbb.org/western-washington/business-reviews/work-at-home-companies/pacific-publications-in-seattle-wa-22511478 "Complaints allege that consumers respond to an ad to work from home. The ad states they will be processing mail making $5 per envelope, assembling products, home customer service, plus much more. Consumers pay a fee of $42 to the company and they never receive the information they paid for or they are not satisfied with the product they receive. Consumers receive a home workers guide with information and not an actual job working from home." Here's another BBB report http://www.bbb.org/us/post/work-from-home-alert-pacific-publications-disappoints-consumers-5332 "The Dupont BBB has received 9216 inquiries on this company already this year."
