SEATTLE WASHINGTON jobs for 15year old?

• okay. i live in seattle washington, my question is are there any jobs that hirer in seattle for teens? im 15 and i wanna find a summer job. i kinda wanna work at south center mall cuz i live like 5 min away. any advice/ideas/job places?? ohh, i DO NOT wanna work at a food place lol. not my thing. i'd rather work in stores like ambercombie, american eagle, love culture or somethingg like that.(= anything would be helpful. thanks

  Sorry, you've got to be 16 to get a job at a store like that. Waiting sucks, I know...but if you fill out and drop off applications now, you'll screw yourself over because they'll see your DOB and disregard you. So you just got to wait. But once you are 16, just walk through the mall, dress semi-nice, and go into everything store that you would like to work at and say "Can I please speak to the person in charge of hiring?" and then say you are interesting in working there and would like to pick up an application. You are lucky to live so close to South center! You shouldn't have too hard of a time finding a job. Just know that it's really hard to find a job as a teenager, especially in this economy, so you'll have to be persistent. About 3-7 days after dropping off your application, call and, again, ask to speak to the person in charge of hiring, and ask if they have had a chance to review your application. Also, places like Target are great! They hire at 16, and there are more jobs available so your chances are higher. Good luck!
