What grocery stores hire 14 year olds??how old do you have to be to work at a clothing store?

    Well its sad to say but, there is hardly any jobs out there for 14 year old but you try really work hard at it you might be able to do it. because we are in a recession and we are going to stay in it for a long time. so you will need a work permit just to work. but if you start here with this free site http://recessionrecover.blogspot.com you will be able to save enough money for a car by the time you become 16. you will be able to afford anything you want with this site but it will take some time. its free safe and easy to do. hope i helpe

It's been awhile since I got my permit but I believe you have to go to your school board or principle's office to get a work permit, to check your grades (they need to know if you can handle a job with your current grades). Most Local grocery store will let you work, but if your trying to work at a chain clothing store like macy's or nordstroms then I believe that you have to be 18.

good you know about the permit, thats a must. my first job was working at a grocery store, try that. but, really there isnt much out there for anyone here even for a 30 year old because the economy is bad but if you really do need money try this website http://recessionrecover.blogspot.com its more for teens like you. its free fast and easy to do and you dont need a work permit for it. check it out, you wont lose anything if you join. I do it myself and I got like 60 dollars from it. but yeah, also try the the library to work at. last I heard they were hiring. hope I help and good luck
