Is there any free dental care for low income people?

What clinics offers free health care to low income/no income people in SAN DIEGO,CA?

  • I am looking for a medical clinic that can treat a respiratory problem for someone that has no job and no insurrance.

    You'll need to apply for CMS (County Medical Services) through the SD County HHSA (Health and Human Services Agency). You can generally do that at any of the Community Health or Family Service Centers in the county, they have CMS reps in the clinics and centers. They have free and sliding scale programs and if approved they can give referrals to local hospitals and physicians. Click the link below for info on SD County CMS and click on the "View the CMS Brochure for more info..." link at the bottom of that page for a listing of clinics and service centers in the county or let me know what area you are in and I can direct you to the nearest facility.

Go to any clinic in the worst parts of town. If one is an illegal immigrant they can pretty much go anywhere and get free medical treatment.

You can always go to the ER at SDSU. They will take anyone insured or not.

Vista Community Clinic, they take anyone! If your an illegal from Mexico they welcome you with open arms. If you are any others, be prepared to fill out a lengthy questionare and provide your birth certficate and social security card, and wait 2hrs for them to verify all the info before you are seen, oh yea and pay for the visit too, but if you are illegal, no questions asked!
