Is it hard to find a job as a LVN?

Are there a lot of LVN (nurse) positions in San Antonio, TX?

  • I am LVN, I finished nursing school in December 2009. I live in East Texas and want to move to San Antonio this summer. Will it be difficult to find an LVN job there with 4-5 months experience?

  • Answer:

Never heard of an LVN (I have heard of a CNA, LPN, and RN as well as a PA) help me out what is an LVN? And if you have a degree or certificate with 4-5 mo experience you should be able to find a nursing home (assisted living) or visiting nurse service quite easily. Also try a doctors office as a receptionist or (medical billing) to further your job experience. Nursing is the best field to get into for the 21st century (baby boomers are just coming of age (60's)) hope I helped...R If an LVN reffers to a licenced visiting nurse you should have no problem finding a service to work out of in San Antonio. Keep up the good work it's people like you that show there are angels among us....
