What items should I sell?

Experienced eBay Users: What would be the optimal way for me to sell small ticket items?

I don't expect to make a lot of money here (no one's getting rich off eBay and I'm not buying the hype) but more importantly I'm trying to de-clutter my house. I've been checking the listings and comparing them to things I'm trying to get rid of and most of these things can reasonably sell for between a dollar and $10, with a few items I could possibly charge more for. What's the best way I can sell my items without having this myriad of seller's fees eating away at what little I already expect to make? Anyone know all about these fees?
