California, state job office assistant hiring and ranking test question?

I am signed up to take the california office assistant test....so i can start applying for a job working for the state as an office assistant. I am curious as to what may be on the test, or has been on previous testing? I am mainly curious as to what type of information is covered so i can study or read up on it, as i know the state has a 3 ranking system in their highering, and with my husband just getting laid off it is crucial i get a job asap, and i really need to rank well on this test! thanks for all the info!

I got news for you. The State is broke. State workers are getting laid off left and right. Starting next month they will need to take off two days a month unpaid. And their paychecks will be IOU'S. Find something in the private sector, if you can. Good Luck.
