Im 15 Almost 16 I Need A Job!!?

• Ohkay I Am 15 And Going to be 16 soon. I am looking for a job. And i have my permit and in order to get a car my mom said i need to have a job. And thats what im trying to look for. Well see I live in Modesto California 95350 and it seems like you have to be 16 everywhere you go to get a job. But i Need a job now. I need a car before i am 16 because i need a car to be able to get back and forth to work. My mom will take me up until i am sixteen then i have to help pay the finances of my car. I have been to so many websites looking for jobs and it isnt helping! Any suggestions??? and i dont want to do babysitting and i use to babysit and i only made $40 dollars for 3 kids after watching them for 8 hours what a waste of time and only getting $40 dollars a week isnt going to get me anywhere anytime soon. So i dont want to do that anymore and i dont want to walk or watch dogs because in my area there are tons and tons of pitbulls and im terrified of them and i dont want to be attacked while walking someone elses dog and be responcible you no!! ANY IDEAS PLEASE HELP!

  Good luck. Modesto has one of the highest unemployment rates around. You are competing with a lot of out of work adults not to mention all the 16 to 18 year olds. $40.00 for 8 hours work is $5.00 per hour. That is about the same a s minimum wage after taxes. You ought to stick to the babysitting for a while.
