What is a 'portable business?

I know what killed small business in America! Do you?

• Since the age of 15, to age 50, I have worked with over 30 companies in 4 states and this is what killed small business. A near drowning at age six gave me a special gift, an open mind to allow ideas to flow, I learned every business was created from imagination. So, before long I would be showing them better ways to run the business with better planning and better solutions all by being in tune with my open-mined creative skill. In fact I showed a 38 year old Wendy's franchise a better and safer way to filter their frying oil. However, this isn't really what killed small business, it didn't help much, the problem in America has to do with people wanting to live the America Dream, not there isn't anything wrong with this as long as the owner has good business ethics, meaning not just isn't thinking about him/her(self) they are thinking about the employees. A business owner opens one store and another and so on, only down the road have to close them due to finances. Along the way to this point the owner continued to want a nicer home, a nicer car, clothes, vacation and so on. Now what I was seeing had to do with money going out of the business with not much coming back in to it, slowing advertising would be the first to go, then the coupons, lowering their standards for quality, upping prices and so on. When I worked for a a 50 year old raisin packaging company in Kingsburg Ca. I was able to increase production on every machine they put me on. Again, my Creative skills was able to see how the machine worked or what it was created to do and made it work the way it was intended. Small businesses close because they 1.lack passion (instead they are driven by money) 2.quality and customer service(instead they give out what they want to and most business owners have very poor judgment)3.caring about the employee(when I went into a business it wasn't hard to make it succeed, I did this by getting the employees mind off their personal problems and allowing them to have fun at work) 4. Not putting money back into repairs, replacing worn Equipment, advertisement, 5.Saving extra money for future recessions(how many recessions have we had since the the 1929 Great Depression? The small business owners I worked for who didn't go out of business gave out raises before the employee ask making the employee feel appreciate, they create pm check to maintain equipment, replacing it when needed, not when having to, they lived a modest life style(I think most people would be happy knowing they had a million dollars in a trust fund they woyuldn't be able to touch for 20 years. There isn't any fun in seeing or knowing, they have to feel it or touch it or spend it.) This Occupy cities movement should also be pointed at small businesses with poor ethics, the Chamber of Commerse and City Managers Each state in the Union should create a tourist tax, then a Hybrid RV with great gas mileage, anybody can apply for this credit card given out by the state, A person sends in information on where they are going, with the credit card they rent the RV, the card can only be used along the route of travel according to where their plan showed. This will boost small business now and in the future, when kids grow up doing this, they will do it with their children.

  I don't know exactly what "killed" small businesses (there are still plenty around where I live). But I sure wish there were more businesses doing http://groupon.com and http://admyauto.com I want more free stuff!
