Recommended hotels on the main line in Pennsylvania?
-
My boyfriend and I are looking for a small weekend getaway next weekend, can anyone recommend any hotels or bed and breakfasts near or around the main line or somewhere outside of Philadelphia but not too far away? I know Ardmore has some nice shops, is there anything else worthwhile like it? Thanks!

Answer:
If Ardmore is your destination, the closest hotels are those on City Ave near 76 or the Radnor Hotel at Lancaster and the Blue Route. Given those choices, I would definately go with the Radnor. They have a nice bar area that stays open late and is close to Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, and Wayne - all of which have the small boutique type shops. If you run out of things to do on the main line, the R5 is in walking distance and can take you right downtown!
