    It's hard, especially if you're younbg/recent college grad with little experience, but then again it always is. A big question is what are you looking to do?? Are you moving here & just want any job (restaurant, Retail, coffee shop) then yeah, there's plenty. If you're thinking of just moving here & getting a sweet office job or union work, then it likely isn't gonna happen right away. Prepare to take a plan B job for a year or two, while your looking for a better job. But, overall, there's work here, and it can pay bills.

It's not hard to get a job in Philly but keep in mind that you will be paying a city wage tax along with your state and federal income tax in April.

Nope! you should just begin shoveling the sh** immediately cuz around here you have to do that for about 4 yrs. before anyone will even consider paying you 12+ per hour. Even after you graduate college.
