How to get YOUR merchandise to THEIR stores?

  • Lets say i have some products, new key chains, and i want to sell them at the cash registers at Wal-Mart. How do i get them there?

    My understanding is that it is very, very difficult to get anything into a wal mart. i work for a company that does service work in wal mart and several other large retailers. My company actually has a rep at corporate wal mart in little rock to be on hand to place bids on projects. The lowest wins of course. I would suggest finding a distributer that can represent your company.

I think if you want to sell anything at Wal-Mart, it has to be made in China.

Sales like that have to be communicated to the corporate office of a company as large as WalMart. Individual stores cannot permit you to sell your items there, because that would be soliciting. WalMart probably sells whatever you are trying to sell in some way shape or form, so the only way they are going to have you in their store is if they are working with you. They would never let any sort of competition earn money inside their doors unless they are receiving a part of your earnings - an then you would be less of a competition and more of a business partner.
