What is the most annoying business lingo?

Business Partnership - Lingo/ Ettiquette ?

  • I am the owner of a online business which has great potential of partnership possibilities with other online businesses. I have never done anything like this, and was wondering if there are resources for me to read as to how to go about contacting a potential partner. What to say, what to ask, what to offer? The right lingo? Things not to say/do? My goal is in the end to provide a better service for my customers, while providing a revenue share model with a potential partner. I drive traffic to his site/ they partner with me because of my customer base. Any advise and ideas?

  • Answer:

Are you sure you need a partner? Most need an investor to keep control of their company. If a partner, will they be a full partner or silent partner? Another partnership is if you sell tuxedo and another place sell wedding gowns. You both share the couple getting married and may offer an incentive if they shop at your partner or vice versa.
