Cheap(er) American Spirit Cigarettes NYC?

  • I am an Australian in NYC right now, my friend back home wants me to get him some American Spirit Cigarettes. I used to smoke, but have never found a cheaper place to buy them.. Any ideas?

    Hmmm.....this might be tough. American Spirits are usually the most expensive major brand of cigarettes out there. And NYC is one of the most expensive places to buy smokes. So you're going to have to spend probably at least $10 a pack. If there are any Native American reservations around New York City, or nearby New Jersey, that have tax free smokes, that may be your best bet. I can't find much info, but people should be able to help you if you ask. The cig tax in NYC is brutal. Ask the taxi drivers and those at the hotels, as well as the locals where to get cheap smokes.
