How to find a job in bartending?

Where can I find a job bartending in NYC, I have experience.?

• Looking for a job bartending in NYC has proven a difficult feat, but I remain optimistic! Now I am asking you all for any ideas. I've tried Craigslist and Job searching sites, and YES I have done walk-ins but its hard to catch the manager. Anyone else out there have any ideas? I don't have to much experience now, I've been working at three different bars for the last month but that's all the experience I've got. I'm pretty new to it, but I really enjoy it so its worth the struggle of finding a job. And please refrain from making fun of me, I know I'm making myself an easy target :). Thanks to anyone that responds with a serious answer.

  My friend recently found a job through the craigslist, but she sent a thousand of resumes and was at hundred of interviews. So I guess you just should keep trying. If you have at least some experience, you should be able to find something. If it does not work, you probably have to realize what is wrong with you as a candidate, maybe ask your interviewers about the reason you are not hired, and work on this. And there is one more option - apply to agency, and they will be able to find you some crappy place for about $100.
