    They didn't hire my cousin until she was 18, and they'd probably prefer if you had experience...but there seems to be mixed answers here so just ask at the one you're interested in.

16 and of only a certain ethnic group. they told me that i could not work there (when i was a teenager and applied) because i did not fit into their "company culture" and I asked what they meant by that and they showed me the door. Same thing happened to my friends who applied there who are the same race as me. We complained to corporate but only got back a form letter telling us they would look into it. we also contacted the media who told us that they would look into it and nothing was ever done about it (probably cause Macy's paid them off)
