What are some good film internships in New York City?

• I em a film major who is specializing in directing, screen editing and producing. I was wondering if any one knew of any good internships in New York that I could try for. Thank you!

  The best way to find one is through your school. Do not find one on Craigs List. Expect to be worked long hours, treated like crap, and be patient. I was a Production Assistant and worked my way up. It is a crazy business. Look into real production companies that either produce big tv shows or commercials. Once there show more interest in what people do. If you find a internship at Viacom or MTV... just so you know you could end up in accounting or in department that has nothing to do with production.... just an FYI.
