Where is the best club in Hamilton NZ to go dancing and party?

Places to go dancing in NYC?

• hey everyone, last New Year's Eve I went with some friends to Webster Hall in NYC. For the first hour or two it was really fun - not too crowded, no one being too obnoxious, just people dancing around and enjoying the party. the later it got, the more crowded it became, and there were more drunk/rowdy people, many of whom were rude and obnoxious, and it became clear that most people were there for meeting other people and hooking up - that's definitely not my scene! I am going to be in NY again for the summer, so I was wondering to what extent that is representative of the 'club' scene in NYC. Are there any clubs that people go to because they just want to dance and have a good time with their friends, not because they want to meet people? don't get me wrong, I am not against drinking and I am not against talking to other humans, it's just that if I go out dancing, I'd like to go somewhere where people aren't going to expect that I'm there to do anything else besides dance. FYI I am totally into the rave scene, it's just that my friends think the music's weird (they're into top 40 and hip-hop, and I'm definitely not opposed) and I was hoping to find somewhere to go dancing that my friends and I would all enjoy. Also FYI I am over 21 so places that require ID are not a problem. Any recommendations?
