Is there a CHEAP hotel near New York Penn Station?

I want to take the Amtrak Northeast Regional from Boston South Station to New York Penn Station. I was wondering about any cheap hotels around NY Penn Station. I can settle taking NJT somewhere near Penn Station. I am talking $100.00 or less/night. If there are none, what is the closest CHEAP hotel near an NJT station. Thanks a lot in advance.
