Is New York City a good place to visit?

Yes. I was raised there long time ago and from what I've seen on tv, the city has improved in many ways. It's been decades since I was there, so I don't know of the up to date places. Anyhow, be sure to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, on 5th Avenue at about 81st Street. ....There's Grand Central Station at 42nd St and Lexington Avenue. Built in 1913, Jackie Kennedy helped save it from being demolished in the 1960s. Instead, it has been restored. It is historic, imagine the soldiers and sailors, the flow of people there during WW2. You enter from the street, through a small corridor, then find yourself in a enormous area, all marble with huge windows and a very high ceiling painted with the constellations. It was purposely constructed so a person naturally feels like THIS is a special moment in their life. It is very unique, a stunning piece of architecture.
