Jobs for a 14-years old girl?

I live in Chicago, but it's basically the same sort of problem: most places like stores, restaurants, etc will not hire until 16...and even then, the jobs usually go to older and more experienced job-seekers. I found a few places that DO hire people as young as 13...one of them was an organization that works with handicapped children. I worked as a volunteer there from when I was 14-16, but I had friends who were staff when they were about your age. I'm not sure what the pay was, but it was decent. I'd say to try to find something like this. Organizations such as the one I described and also things like animal shelters etc will usually hire much younger. Summer camps and such are also an option. I don't know if this is what you were looking for, but maybe it gave a bit more info on where you'd have a better chance. :)
