What are some retail stores that hire at 17?

What stores/business would hire a 17 year old? with no experience?

• i live in New York (the state, not the city) but i live in the city of middletown (orange county). so theres tons of places around here to work at, tons of options. like september 11th i'm getting a physical, and working papers (from the drs office) and my birthday is september 23rd, and then i'll be 17. i wanna get a job, thats preferably close, because my moms gonna have to drive me. so as long as i work after 4pm, i should be good. i'd like to get something in my field. i'm a cosmetology student (2nd year, it take 2 years to graduate) and last year 2 16 year olds in my class got salon jobs. one was a receptionist, and the other was a shampoo girl. if i get a job at a salon, by the time i get my cosmetology license, id be making more than someone just starting out, cuz i would have been there a year. i wouldnt mind working in retail either. just not at the mall, cuz EVERYONE from school (and other schools) shop there (i live 4 minutes away from the mall) thank you :)
