Where to get free food?

Do you know where I can get free food in union country new jersey?

  • I'm on SSI and need some help with groceries every month. I came from san francisco and they have many churches and places that give away free food weekly. So, does anyone know of any churches/places or even a list of places to go to receive a bag of food weekly/monthly in Union County of New Jersey or somewhere in North Jersey thanks. oh and also free clothing too.

    the salvation army and goodwill both are mission oriented, that is they help those in need. the salvation army is more involved, goodwill is about job creation, salvation army also extends services, food, sometimes grants. the local catholic church will also usually helo, as will LDS (later day saints/ The Mormons)
