Please, name all the beaches in the Queens, NY and on Long Island,NY?

Another private mausoleums key question. Can someone please help, this is really important to me?

  • Hello! Well, I asked a question similar to this one, about whether or not I could get permission to access my great-great-grandfather's private mausoleum. And I've thought on the question and bit, and I wanted to see what other people's opinions are, or if you might know the answer. My great-great-grandfather is Charlie "Lucky" Luciano, and I'm somewhat of his illegitimate great-great-granddaughter. Charlies is entombed in the family mausoleum in St. John's Cemetery in Queens, NY. See, I don't know any of the "legitimate" family so, I can't ask any of them if they would know where the key(s) to the mausoleum is/are. And there's a pretty good chance that they've been lost since he passed in 1962. The reason I would like to be let in the mausoleum is to leave some flowers for him. But not many people think that if I went to the cemetery office and asked to be let in that they would. For the most part, because I "can't prove that I'm a relative." But that's where I got to thinking. See, I'm named after Charlie. My name is Salvatore-Calcedonia Lucania. {My mom following Italian naming traditions.} Charlie's birth name being Salvatore C. Lucania. And I have a picture ID. So I was wondering, since I have an ID, and am named after him, would that be enough to get them to let me in? Would that be my proof? I've been doing a lot of family research, and I just find that this is extremely important for me to do, regardless of history, as crazy as it might sound. So any help or opinions, or both, is extremely appreciated! Thank you!

  • Answer:

If you had your family tree traced by an expert and notorized then its possible they would let you in.
