What are some good firehouses in Manhattan that I can possibly appy for when becoming a firefighter?

You don't apply to a firehouse. You take a civil service written exam, given every 4 years. then based on your score you take a physical exam. Your scores are the combined and you are given a list number. when your list number is called, you go for psych and medical testing. Then you begin probie school and upon graduation are assigned to a firehouse
