How can a 13 year old get 30-50 dollars by Saturday?

• We have a Fun-Daze in my town (which is like a small fair) and i need money to buy tickets and food from the concession. I need it by saturday. Plus there is a Cisn @ the Lake where Cisn Country FM comes to the lake and there are some pretty epic stuff there. so for that i need money for the concession and money for the activities and the boat rides. things i CANT do: -Get a REAL job -Babysit

  Eat BEFORE you go. Groceries at home are almost always cheaper than the food at the fair. You can also save $ by drinking water (better for you than many of those sugary soft drinks, anyway). Ask your parents if they want to go to the fair and they might treat you to the rides. Long term, ask them for advice about getting some spending $. Some parents will give allowances. Others do not like the idea of paying kids to do chores bc kids should do these chores as part of the family. Kids do not pay dad to drive them places. Being frugal with the $ is part of growing up. I am an adult and go without a lot of things. I rarely buy food from a restaurant and just brown bag it. I don't even buy coffee (just bring my own drinks bought in WalMart or just drink water). Still we live better than the really poor ppl in 3rd world countries. Who cannot even afford $1.50 for a canned food item (considered rich ppl's food in the 3rd world).
