Vintage clothing stores in NYC?

Can anyone recommend any clothing stores that sell vintage clothing, preferably in Manhattan or Brooklyn? I am very into 40's, 50's and 60's vintage (and even 70's somewhat), but have trouble finding clothing, shoes and accessories outside of the internet. Are there any stores that sell the clothing at reasonable prices? (This being $30 and below for a dress, not $60). I am interested in both authentic vintage and vintage styled clothing. Also, are there any good thrift/discount shops that sell vintage clothing in these boroughs? Thanks.

Cheap Jack's Vintage Clothes 303 5TH NYC, NY 10016 212/777-9564 www.cheapjacks.com I live in Atlanta and my daughter told me about this place around 15 years ago. We went there while on a visit about that time, and I found a shirt that was the exact same one I had during disco fever...as well as a pair of polyester pants. What a hoot!
