Can anybody help me find a job or shelter im moving to New York City in may please i need help?

    Oh...I'm sorry to hear that you're in a rut. Once you get here, the best thing I can say is to first have some stability (place to stay/food) until you can handle your own and/or get some money coming in. The other answer was right, try looking in the papers like the Village Voice because they tend to have a lot of good resources for everything under the sun. An option if you do not have a place to stay, is to stay in a small room/hotel. They will charge you by each day you are there, but the charges can go from high to low depending on what neighbourhood you stay in. I'll give you a link to some listings. Those rooms are good for people who are coming into da city and staying for a while, or need a place to stay. Good luck and be careful.

Im in the same situation, except Im only 16 and leaving to NY. When I get there im going to start off rent a small room in Chinatown or the Queens or Lil Italy (Im italian, so i would fit in nicely :) or somewhere cheap. After that Im gong to find a temperary job while I start my modeling career, i know im going to fail but dont every give up we will make it. New York is the center of the world, the city of opportunities, and the best place to get started if you want a new life like i do. Hope everything goes well for you :)
