Are there any jobs for felons in New Orleans, LA?

It seems that, alothough when "some" of these people get out of jail and try to take the "better" route, some employers look down on them because of a decision that was made. Granted, we are human and it's not an excuse, but where can felons find a decent job in New Orleans? I know someone in the situation, and when he was on the job his coworkers treated him like dirt because they heard about his situation. Can someone inform me about any jobs in New Orleans, Meatairie, or Kenner that will allow felons to work for them? Thaks in advance!

Best advice I can offer to Louisiana and Mississippi ex-cons is: Get out of your states--and head off West. Texas is BRIMMING w/ $$$$---thanks to the presidential cozy treatment Bush is handing his beloved home state. Jobs are EVERYWHERE there---and they offer great programs FREE to help ex-cons get back into life. Work is also abundant in California and Nevada, too!! If an ex con in these states can't find work---it's because they're not looking. Louisiana and Mississippi both are nothing but parole violation traps---looking to bounce an ex con back in prison! Stay in THOSE states----and you're headed back to prison....it's only a matter of time.
