Can the public buy unused (or used) FEMA trailers? If so, how and how much?

There are so many sitting empty or no longer needed. Can they be sold? Someone told me that people who were given FEMA trailers can buy them for $1500-true??

They are periodically auctioned off. Yes you can purchased them, almost always used. $1500 might get you one, but it depends on the auction. Keep in mind that you don't get to SEE the trailer when you are bidding on it. Infact, you get very little information and typically they are sold in batches.

My step brother lived in a FEMA trailer after Fredrick hit and they set up a trailer park all with the same kind of trailer's he said after one year.. If the rules where followed he could buy it for $1.00 but that's my step brother talking so the best thing to do is call Fema they surely will tell you the rules. Anyways my step brother did not follow the rules he said and was kicked out of the trailer. They seem to be very strick about things so before you buy one call them okay!!!!!!!
