Is craigslist a good place to sell used clothes?

Where can i sell my used clothes?

• the clothes i want to sell have only been worn once,and theyre outgrown. i thought about ebay but my dad says no one buys clothes on ebay. i thought about craigslist but my brother says its dangerous since im young. i thought about selling it at a garage sale but my dad said id have to sell it for less than a dollar and online used clothes are about 2 or 3 $ so if id have to sell it for less than a $,either way no one would buy it,not in my neighborhood. i thought about platos closet but everyone,when i researched about it said it wasnt worth it. what should i do? should i sell it at ebay,craigslist,garage sale,or platos? i dont know anymore! anyone have some advice or options?

  Plato's closet pays you right away, but you only get about 30% of what they are going to sell them for. Consignment shops are the same way, (50% of their sale price) but regular consigment shops don't pay you right away. They cut you a check at the end of the month for what they have sold, not what they still have. Ebay charges you a fee for listing, regardless of whether you sell them or not, so that can actually cost you money if they don't sell. Craigslist is dangerous for a young girl, there are alot of creeps. IF you are going to sell on craiglist, make the post like your dad is writing it, so that you know you are not a target of some creepo. Like, "I''m selling my daughters gently used, name brand clothes...." You will most definately make the most amount of money for them at a garage sale bc you are not getting only 50% of the profit, you are making it all. GL Stay safe
