Legalizing Marijuana in California?

What are the chances of California legalizing marijuana/cannabis this November?

  • Take into account that none of the Candidate Gov's are supportive, If the proposition passed by popular vote it would have to be made into law right? and what is the actual chance of the people passing it? I heard that it would be a pretty tight race so I would love to hear opinions from both sides please. What do you think of the black market vs a regulated market? If California end up legalizing does it would it stay in dispensaries, just for everyone instead of only medical? or would medical marijuana remain a seperate market? What do you think the feds will do? Will the DEA go away?

    There is a good chance they will. California is the center of America for tolerating Marijuana use. And home of some of the best weed in the world! Cali is the only place in America that this will happen first. It's great to finally get some progress in this Country

I have no idea what cali is like but I would say it boils down to intelligence: The less-educated and dumber the population is, the more likely they're going to keep it illegal. The smarter and more realistic the population is, the more likely they will legalize it. Good luck cali, the world's eyes are on you; let's end this madness.

Yes it will pass in spite of hug mounting opposition from law enforcement, religious cults, and other special interest groups with huge lobbying money and power. There may be a two tiered system: Cannabis with a THC % above "x" amount is medical, while cannabis with a lower THC amount is over the counter...think Mexican dirt weed in the form of a Marlboro Joint. Even if this thing passes though it will be tied up in the court system for at least 12 months if not years. So get your medical marijuana card if you want to remain unmolested by law enforcement for being a responsible consumer of medical marijuana.
