Native Californian, Looking to move back to Los Angeles as a Motorcycle Mechanic. Any Angelno's that could tell me current job market in LA would be great. Also, I'm from San Clemente, but I grew up in Venice-Santa Monica Area. Currently living in Memphis,TN. As of right now, I'm working as a Auto Mechanic, but I'm going to go to MMI, and get Small Engine Certified before making the move out to LA. Please, if you don't live in California or Los Angeles, do not respond. Only want people who actually currently live there.

The job market sucks. I have friends who have looked for a year or more before finding a job. That said you have lived here before and understand how things work here. If you work in an upper middle class area you will likely find people who will spend money on motorcycles and we do have the weather to ride year round. It is 80 degrees today. My car mechanic is not hurting for business at all.
