Largest Church in Las Vegas?

Practicable church organs in Las vegas?

  • I recently started to play the organ and I need a place to practice it. where I study it, @ UNLV, it's not possible to just ask permission to play it, so I was wondering if there are any churches where I can practice the organ a few times a week. I know of only the All Saints Episcopal Church, what other ones are there? Thanks.

    You could contact the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. I see on their website that they have a PDF file listing organs in the Las Vegas area on this page: http://members.cox.net/snc-ago/localorgans.htm Download that and take a look. There may be contact information there as well. In my experience the AGO is always willing to help students pursue their study of the organ. Best of luck!

As your student advisor for assistance. Since you are paying tuition at the school you should be entitled to practice at the location. That is strange. Also, the advisor may have an contact with a member of the clergy that can help you find an off site location. Good luck but pursue your school.
