Answer:
You'll most likely get some of the "best" sales training by working for a timeshare company. Timeshare salespeople have to try to sell a product that's typically tens of thousands of dollars upfront to an audience that they just met who don't want to buy their product over a couple of hours. I write "best" sales training because like nuclear power, it can be used for good or evil. Sales skills are vitally important to any organization, so learning them well will keep you forever employed. But you may be disappointed in the future if you find out how many people feel financially crunched by their timeshares.

Here is difference between an insurance sales man and a timeshare sales man. Insurance Salesman: Talks to people that actually need it's product, the product is real, clients walked in on their own will, if you offer them a good product they are open to buy, if they don't buy you can call them after they thought about it. Timeshare sales man: People do not need their product, the product does not make financial sense, clients were "bribed" to come to the presentation (offered freebies in order for them to attend), the timeshare industry is full of scams and they know it, the night before the presentation 99% of the prospects make a "pact" to eachother that they will not buy anything no matter what (just take the freebies and run), you only have 90 min. to close the deal because if they go home and ask anyone (like you are doing right now) they will tell them that timeshares are not worth it. (at least at developer prices) You can make more than $100,000 a year if you are GOOD at it. ( I personally have seen timeshare sales people making over $250,000 a year) But there is a reason why they make so much and I am going to leave that one to your imagination. The fact is that ONLY 20% of all the salespeople that give it a try is actually succesfull at it , and only half of those make over $70,000

try it. but these are very hard jobs. you have to hook the person and scam them to no end. I used to do payday loans and sell credit cards. I stopped for one reason I lost respect for myself as I was conning the people into a rosebud that is nothing more than a weed. think it over.
