How much do Las Vegas performers get paid?

Working in las vegas casino,I get insurance but no vacation time? why is that? help?

  • i work in the sahara casino and I get insurance and I am almost positive I am full time, wouldn't I not get insurance if I want full time? I have been there 3 yrs and got laid off and re hired.It's been more then a year that I have been back and my supervisor said I haven't earned one day of vacation pay!! I'm very irritated I have never got a paid vacation. I am going to payroll and h.r but i just need some info about this subject and what to say? I just think if I get insurance I should have at least a weeks worth of paid vacation time.People I work with who have no insurance and was hired a few months after me got at least 3 days paid vacation!! I have been there 3 yrs but when i got re hired everything started over,I Just dont understand and i'm not union..is this correct? or happened to anyone else before? please help me out I have no idea if im going to get lied to and screwed over, so all info and thing's I should know and know to ask about would be more then appreciated..thanks so much.

    It should depend on how many hours a week you work. If you work less than 30 hours a week you can still qualify to participate in the health care program but your employer may not consider that enough hours when determining whether you qualify for vacation. They are 2 separate issues. I would inquire with HR to make sure.
