  There are hardly any show business jobs in Indiana. At least 90 percent of them are in New York or California. To be an actress or model, you need an agent, and for that, you need a portfolio (especially modeling). The problem with that is a lot of so-called agents are really semi-scam operations. Their real goal is to get you to pay for overpriced photo sessions, classes and other costs, but they do not have real jobs to offer in the end. I don't want to discourage you too much, but being based in Indy makes it almost impossible to connect up with legitimate agencies and legitimate job prospects in this field. You will wind up spending a ton of money without getting anything that pays. I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but if it saves you from getting ripped off, I hope it helps.
