Help selling on eBay?

Help on ebay selling?

• Okay here it is I'm a single mother of four children and working outside the home is out of the question and I don't want to live of the goverment so can anyone tell me how to get started selling on ebay I want to get rid of some of my kids old clothes that's in great condition and also buy some items in mexico like jewlery (is that how you spell it) and some pottery plus some other misc products, the thing is that I don't know how it works like do I include shipping in the price or do I pay for it and how much does ebay get paid, how does pay pal get paid and do I send the product first or do I wait for the money then send it. Please help me I'm in desperate need as a matter of fact I don't even own a computer but I'll be coming to my mother's house to do the selling. Please help!

  you really need a computer if you want to sell on ebay. It is very simple but takes a lot of time over night while the kids are sleeping would be the best time for you to list stuff on ebay. You can do it with out a computer but will be very hard because when you are running an auction you need to check on it a few times a day and answer any question people send you. The buyer pays the cost of shipping and you can either use flat rate shipping on calculated shipping witch is by weight and zip code. You do not ship the items till you have been paid for them. Used clothes aren't really a great seller on ebay but you might get a little for them although ebay fees will eat up most of your income on low priced items. They have strict rules on used clothing. Any way you will need a bank account and credit card to get started sailing on ebay and to use paypal they are to different things. You will need a paypal account and an ebay account. It is every easy to sign up for both. You will need an email address to sign up for them as well. if you just go to ebay and start reading they will answer all your questions. They also have forums and blogs to answer any question you can't find. You can go to paypal and just read to they are very helpful don't pay anyone you can do this yourself. Everything is there for the reading at either paypal or ebay. They are fee's to sell and collect money but they are listed it's like .25 plus 3.% on paypal and to sale it starts at .35 cents the higher you charge for the item the higher the fee will be plus like 3.% of the final value of the sale. If you have a paypal account people can pay you though paypal and you can either transfer the money to your bank account or request a debit card and you can use the debit card to buy things with to use the money you have collected. you don't have to have paypal to sell on ebay but you will have to wait till the buyer sends you a check for the item then you need to wait till the check clears your bank before you send the item to them.
