Where can i find a computer shop in the philippines?

Where in Katy or Richmond Tx can I find a good, cheap computer repair shop?

• My lap-top's space bar hinges have broken so I need to get it repaired asap. I don't want to leave it for days, which I'm sure it shouldn't even take that long, as long as they have the parts. Any shop that can do it the same day in the Richmond or Katy area would be great. Someplace they don't want to charge $70 an hour for something so simple. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

  Every laptop is proprietary. That means parts are not interchangeable. Even laptops from the same manufacturer can't be used. It will have to from the same make in most circumstances. You aren't going to find anyone who has these parts sitting on a shelf unless you are extremely lucky to find someone who has a stripper with extra parts and is your model. Not likely. In the case of a broken space bar the entire keyboard will most likely need replacing. This isn't a 10 minute job like you think it is. Please don't use the word simple to a professional its de-meaning. Asking 70 an hour to have the skill-set to do something like this isn't a lot of money. If the laptop is over 2 years old you prob can find a used one on eBAY without a hard drive. That's fine since you can remove yours and put it in the eBAY one. Since they both should have identical hardware you just fixed the problem and now have that spare for parts. If it's less then 2 it may still be under warranty. Check at the manufacturer website with your service tag to see if it is.
