Where can I find a job in Oklahoma?

Where can i find a job on the oil rigs in texas? or oklahoma?

  • i have looked all over online to try and find out how to apply or get ahold of the oil field in texas and aklahoma but i have found nothing. only websites that require a monthly fee to find a job. sounds like a scam to me. please help send me in the right direction.

    Just open up the yellow pages, look up oilfield services, make a list of the company names and research those companies. Geeesh, do you expect Google or Yahoo to read your mind or something?

If you want a job other than manual labor, you are going to have to get a masters or more in the field of earth sciences and geology and you could get a job scouting out new oil reserves. It would pay alot of money, all jobs besides manual work would pay a lot of money. This is also the kind of thing where you don't want to start out on Yahoo Answers if you're actually serious about this.

Check out Houston in Texas. All you have to do is drive on I-10 through the city towards the coast, you will literally see hundreds of oil rigs all around you.
