I was wondering where can i work at age 15?!

Answer:
It's messed up, but most places have raised they're age limits to 18 yrs or older due to the laziness of some minors. :/ I know because i tried as hard as i could to get a job when i was 15. Now, minors can't even do paper routes. You'll have to try really hard to get one, but as long as you really want a job I'm sure you'll find one. These might help: http://www.groovejob.com/browse/jobs/in/CA/California/Fresno http://www.snagajob.com/default.aspx?ref=gTeenJob&scrid=googleppc http://www.fresnojobs.org/ Make sure you have a good resume to hand in to every place you apply. Always ask when they do interviews, because just handing in applications are a lot less likely to get you a job. http://www.resume-resource.com/ Good luck dude

I'm assuming you are from Detroit since your answer is posted in the Detroit section. You should try the fast food restaurants such as McDonald's, White Castle, etc. My niece has been working at Red Robin for a while. You will need your worker's permit. Also, look into some daycares. There are many high school students that work part time at the daycare center my sister works at on Grand River and Greenfield. I wish you luck!

Technically you can work anywhere thats safe and fits all of the laws for working minors but most business won't hire you until youre 18 (especially restaurants because you will probably be handling alcohol). Look into smaller places such as Dairy Queen, fast food chains, or maybe even consider an internship if you're interested in the pay. After filling out your application (where you have to indicate your age) and going through the hiring process, you'll have to fill out a form that must be signed by your parents indicating that you have permission to work as a minor and that your parents are liable for anything that might happen. These forms are available at your school (probably in the office or the counselors office). After getting your parents signature, a school official has to review your transcripts to make sure that you are responsible enought to balance both school and a job. the form will then be returned to your employer who signs it and you both get a copy.
