I'm a rookie bartender in Detroit, and I'm having trouble with finding a job that is willing to train. ?

I am very eager to learn and can handle the pressure! I just need a break... any advice on how to land a job with no experience?

I don't know where in Detroit where u are, or what type of bar that you want to go to, but there are a few on the West Side that will train you. If you have a little experience, that should help you. I would just go by some of these bars to see if they need help, and just explain to them that you are just getting started and that you are seeking some type of training to make you better! Why does everyone think they can get where they want to be the easy way?? Go to bar tending school-- there is no easy way! You have to work and learn just like everyone else. I guess Dr's could just say--Gee I'm willing to learn and work hard but I don't want to go to school.
