How to get a Work Permit?

I want to know how can I get a work permit in TX,irving? Plz.?

• I want to get a job. Nobody is hiring me because I am 15 (I have to be 16 at least) So I need a work permit. I already went to counselor's office at my school. But they said they don,t give work permit at school. So please tell me how can I get a work permit .

  There is no "work permit" unless you are not from the US. 15-year-old citizens can work wherever they hire persons that age. Legal working age is 14, but some companies will have policies which do not allow for persons under 18, for instance. There is no "permit" to get you into a company like that. Grocery stores are likely your best bet and will have flexible scheduling for students. Most fast food chains have become difficult to get into now unless you speak spanish as a first language. But many still will hire 14- and 15-year-old students. You cannot change a company policy...if a company only hires over a certain age, it is their right to do so. Now, if you are foreign, you will need to apply with the US department of labor for a work visa. The only way they are going to let you work is if your parent(s) are legally here and have a work visa of some sort as well. *that* is the only permit that is needed, and it is only needed if you are not a US citizen. Please do not ask this same question again, it is against the TOS for you to ask the same question repeatedly.
