What is a quality art store?

Sometimes I see damaged art, framed art with scratches, tears etc. And they put it out on display any way?

  • I mean, I went to two local Walmarts in Dallas, and they both had the same situation with their art, There were rips and tears and cuts in the canvas and not just on one but several and when asked the associate seemed to be unconcerned about it. I wonder how many of you have witnessed this? It seems like quality control is gone and a superstore like Walmart selling damaged artwork or letting it become damaged is a sign in my opinion something is lacking in quality control merchandising. I think all the art that is damaged should be thrown away or given to a Thrift store as a donation. What are your ideas about this? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has seen damaged merchandise being sold on the sales floor that is not fit to sell.

  • Answer:

I've noticed a lot of merchandise is damaged at the Dallas area Walmarts. It must be left over from the Christmas crowd picking through everything. I do not see the same sort of customer ravaged merchandise in the rural Walmarts so it's not a company policy.

I'm not a frequent Wal Mart customer, but I've noticed damaged merchandise on their shelves, too. If you really want to see damaged junk, go into any Hobby Lobby store! My wife has finally realized they just sell crap.

Are you serious? If you want ART, and not cheap framed posters, go to an ART GALLERY!
