Which is the cheapest community college in DFW area in Texas?

Community college in the Dallas area?

  • I'm currently in my fresh. year at another Texas college, but I want to make up a couple classes (and maybe take a couple extra) this summer. Does anyone know of a good community college that offers summer classes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area? thanks! [=

  • Answer:

Collin College offers month long classes, that will ensure that you get the most bang for your buck. Other community colleges such as Dallas might offer the same. One extremely important element here is that you make sure that the courses that you take transfer back to your College. To do this either check on uselect: https://www.transfer.org/uselect/login.htm or go to your adviser with the name of the college you want to attend as well as a description of courses you want to take. If you intend on taking any government class proceed with caution, every school has a different method of how they split the government class. The transfer process varies greatly. I would strongly suggest that you take a government class at your College and avoid the risk.

There are tons, TCC has several campuses, there are Dallas County Colleges, Hill College, Weatherford College. Each community has or is assigned a community college. Just contact a community college and they can tell you your home college. If you go to the one in your communities district it will be cheaper.
