What did you think of Geauga Lake park?

• What did you think of Geauga Lake park? Was it better before or after Six Flags took over? Was it better after Cedar Fair bought and mauled it after Six Flags built it into a mega-park? I miss the dolphins during the Six flags Worlds of Adventure days...

  I no longer live in NE Ohio and haven't been there in about 12 years. I've heard of it going under Six Flags and then they got rid of it and Geauga Lake is now strictly a water park. I think there's something charming about an old independent park (eg. Kennywood in Pittsburgh). I was sad when it was part of Six Flags, but am very sad that it's now just a water park. Ultimately, I guess it doesn't matter since Cedar Point isn't that far and is such a roller coaster park, but it's just another reminder of how much things change and how old I'm getting.
