Where to find jobs with companies hiring?

Jobs Hiring In Your Area?

  • Im having a hard time finding jobs in the area that I live in that are actually hiring and that a 17 year old can actually work at. Are their any numbers that I can call to find out companies that are hiring in the chicago suburbs?

    depends on what your qualified for. at that age, you have to take whatever is out there; mickey D's, B king, etc.

Are you referring to an office setting or retail? If office, Try going to a placement/temp service. Your 17 and legal to work and I am assuming you want to work at a big company and not retail. Based on your age I doubt you have any experience for anything more than shipping/receiving/warehouse or mail room type of positions or reception. Other than a placement service or temp agency (which both get perm hire jobs), try career builder or any job site on the web. Most companies do not take phone calls these days... you will need to mail in a resume. Otherwise, the agencies will have you fill out an application.
