What is the best internet and cable provider in Chicago?

I am moving to Chicago and trying to figure out the best options, I only need a month to month to start I don't want to commit to a 12 month until I have used the service I know it works well.I have heard a lot of mixed reviews regarding RCN & Comcast. I do not want a dish, give me your suggestions and experiences with different providers please!

Answer:
No choice. RCN is bankrupt. I would buy a dish and get a unlimited air card from sprint for internet.
